Graphology, qhen aimed at human resource management in general (and hiring in particular), features some great advantages over more conventional assestment techniques.

A preliminary screening, in order to prune the number of candidates to undergo a more detailed scrutiny, is extremely fast and reliable.
Also, the procedure is by its nature very unobtrusive: all we need is a handwritten sheet of paper.
Finally, it is easy for the graphologist to detect any attempt at self-embellishing from the candidates.

For these and other reasons Graphology is used thoughout Europe — in France it is employed by as many as the 80% of hiring consultants, in Switzerland by 68% of them.
